Welcome to Rada. By downloading, installing, or using the Rada app or any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use Rada.

1. About Rada

Rada is a nightlife discovery platform based in Nairobi, Kenya. We help users discover clubs and venues, access exclusive drink vouchers and promotions, RSVP to events, and connect with their social circle. Rada acts as a marketplace connecting users with participating venues and vendors — we are not a party to transactions between users and vendors.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Rada. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older. If we discover that a user is under 18, we will suspend their account immediately.

3. Account Registration

You may sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at hello@radaapp.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You may not create an account on behalf of another person or use a false identity. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Vouchers and Promotions

Rada enables participating venues to publish drink vouchers and promotional offers. Each voucher is subject to its own terms including expiry date, applicable venues, and redemption limits.

Vouchers are non-transferable and may only be redeemed once per user unless stated otherwise. Rada does not guarantee the availability of any particular voucher or promotion. Once a voucher has expired or reached its redemption limit, it cannot be used.

Attempting to redeem a voucher fraudulently, or using another person's account to redeem vouchers, will result in immediate account suspension.

5. Location Services

Rada uses your location to show nearby venues and deliver proximity-based notifications. You may grant or revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings. Some features (such as the venue map and nearby deals) will not work without location access.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use Rada for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to bypass any security measure or access controls
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from Rada without our written permission
• Submit false or misleading information to Rada or participating venues
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the platform

7. Intellectual Property

All content on Rada — including the name, logo, design, text, and software — is the property of Rada or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

8. Third-Party Services

Rada integrates with third-party services including Google (sign-in), Mapbox (venue mapping), Safaricom M-Pesa Daraja (mobile money payments), LiveKit (live streaming), and participating venues. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Rada is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third parties.

9. Disclaimers

Rada is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that venue information (including opening hours and availability) will always be accurate. Venue details are provided by the venues themselves — always verify with the venue before visiting.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rada shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury arising from visiting a venue discovered through Rada.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Rada at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these terms or is otherwise harmful to Rada, our users, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Continued use of Rada after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Rada shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
